Imodium gives fast effective relief from the symptoms of diarrhea (which include loose stools, stomach cramping and pain. Imodium acts quickly to restore normal bowel function so you can continue your planned daily activities with confidence.
Dosage
Adults : 2 caplets initially, followed by 1 caplet after each loose unformed stool as needed, maximum of 8 caplets per day.
Children 12 years and over : 2 caplets initially, followed by 1 caplet after each loose unformed stool as needed, maximum of 8 caplets per day.
Children 12 years and under : Imodium is NOT for use in children under 12 years of age.
Do not use if pregnant or breast feeding except on your doctor’s advice. If you have a fever or blood in your stools please consult your doctor before using Imodium.
