During the first few months of use spotting (breakthrough bleeding), breast tenderness, nausea, bloating or headaches may occur but usually disappear with time.
If these or other side effects continue see your doctor. You should see your doctor urgently, if you are taking MICROGYNON 20ED and you develop migraines or unusually severe headaches or you get a blood clot (warning signs - sudden shortness of breath, unusual pains in your arms or legs).
